On May 10th, a delegation led by vice president of CAS Li Jiayang, visited Germany accompanied by delegates from the Bureau of International Cooperation, the Bureau of Resources and Environment, and ITP. The delegation was to visit MPG, DFG, some of the other universities and institutes in Germany, and discuss with German scientists international cooperation of research programs. 

This visit was to promote the progress of the Partner Project proposed by president Lu Yongxiang and German institutes, and the joint construction of ITP. During the visit, the two sides would discussed about construction of FMRP of ITP, put into effect the three cooperative programs proposed by us, and get prepared for the international symposium on the Tibetan Plateau to be held in Lhasa in this August. Two special meetings will be held in the symposium for discussion on joint construction of FMRP and cooperation in related research programs.
