In the latest list of winners of the NSFC Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Prof.YANG Kun of ITP is among the list. This funding starts from January 2014 and will last for four years. With the new funding, Prof. Yang would focus on studying the feedbacks of soil moisture to land-air interactions on the Tibetan Plateau, enhancing the performance of Tibetan Plateau climate models, and exploring the impacts of land surface on the Tibetan Plateau on China’s climate.
