Yongsong Huang and Elizabeth K. Thomas, academic staff at Brown University are visiting ITP next Wednesday. Dr. Yongsong Huang is currently an associate professor in the Department of Geological Sciences, Brown University. He received his B.S. in geochemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1984, his M.S. in analytical chemistry from the Chengdu University of Science and Technology of China in 1987, and his Ph.D. in Geochemistry from the Institute of Geochemistry/Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1990, and another Ph.D. in Environmental Organic Geochemistry from the University of Bristol, UK in 1997.
Elizabeth is winner of National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and pursuing her PhD degree in the Department of Geological Sciences at Brown University.
Experienced at paleoclimate reconstruction from limnological sediment, they are each presenting a talk Wednesday morning. Prof. HOU Juzhi of ITP will preside over the presentation. We welcome your participation and involvement in the academic exchange!
