Tibetan Plateau Science Forum open!


Tibetan Plateau Science Forum tends to gather distinguished scientists worldwide to share with the audience their studies on Tibetan Plateau environment and geology. Research staff interested in Tibetan Plateau study are welcome to sit in, exchanging notes and exploiting field for future cooperation.

This week, it welcomes its first speaker, Prof. LIU Zhengyu, winner of 1000 Plan recruited by Peking University to give a talk.

Report: Transient Climate Evolution of the Last 21,000 years (TRACE-21): Modeling, Model-Data Comparison and Mechanism

Who: Prof. Zhengyu Liu, Professor in the College of Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was recently elected Fellow of the American Geophysical Union during the AGU Fall Meeting in December 2010.  

Where: Meeting room on the 2nd floor of ITP office building
